Christopher P DelCioppio
Mr. DelCioppio is an associate in the firm’s commercial division, licensed in New Jersey and handling the firm’s New Jersey matters, including approval of structured settlement transactions, enforcement of judgments, and general commercial matters. Mr. DelCioppio also assists the firm in handling matters in the Surrogate’s Court of various counties throughout New York City and Long Island, including probate and administration proceedings, guardianship proceedings, accountings, and proceedings to compromise and settle actions for wrongful death and personal injury. In addition, Mr. DelCioppio also has extensive experience assisting the firm in Landlord-Tenant actions in New York City, representing both landlords and tenants in eviction proceedings arising out of non-payment of rent and termination of tenancies. Further, Mr. DelCioppio assists in the representation of clients in various aspects of estate planning, including the drafting and execution of wills, powers of attorney, and health care proxies.
Mr. DelCioppio holds a B.A from St. John’s University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and a juris doctor from Hofstra University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. DelCioppio was a teaching assistant for Professors J. Herbert DiFonzo and Andrew Schepard, and also interned and campaigned for New York City Councilman Paul
Vallone leading up to his 2013 election.
