Luigi Brandimarte, Partner

Luigi Brandimarte is a Partner of the firm where he supervises the General and Commercial Litigation Department and is a member of the firm’s Business Services and Law, Litigation & Appeals Practice Groups. Mr. Brandimarte’s practice focuses on general civil litigation with particular emphasis on appellate, commercial and insurance-related litigation. A large part of Mr. Brandimarte’s practice has been devoted to representing various member entities of the National Association of Structured Purchasers in connection with structured settlement annuity and lottery purchase/loan agreements and the transfer of structured settlement payments rights and lottery prizes throughout the States of New York and New Jersey. Also, Mr. Brandimarte has successfully prosecuted, defended and argued dozens of appeals in the various appellate courts of the State of New York.

While at New York Law School, Mr. Brandimarte served as an Executive Notes and Comments Editor on the New York Law School Journal of Human Rights, where his Note, “Sperm Plus Egg Equals One ‘Boiled’ Debate: Kass v. Kass and the Fate of the Frozen Pre-Zygotes”, 17 N.Y.L. Sch. J. Hum. Rts. 767 (2000) was published.
