Congratulations to Mathew Beckwith, Esq. of the Sacco & Fillas commercial team that successfully prosecuted an employment discrimination matter to a magnificent settlement. This action arose when our client was discriminatorily terminated and reinstatement was refused because of her national origin. The defendants claimed that the plaintiff was not qualified to work and that her Employment Authorization Card had expired which lead to her termination. Meanwhile, evidence was adduced by our team that five (5) other employees were hired and remained employed despite not having a valid Employment Authorization Card. Job well done Mathew!
